CGL Facility Management LLC is a private firm providing comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients.
The General Tradesperson will be responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance work and minimal installations with our client. This is a full time position, Monday through Friday, but requires on-call availability for certain emergency situations. Prefer someone skilled in various systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, electronics and controls. Position requires the ability to perform or to be trained in the installation and repair of specialized equipment such as generators, air compressors, kitchen, laundry, boilers, lighting and other equipment. Requires the knowledge of tool control procedures pertaining to maintenance activities. Requires general working knowledge of carpentry, painting and plastering. Confirms to OSHA and corporate safety and policies and procedures. Must be computer literate. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test ad extensive criminal background check. Must be able to read and decipher blue-prints and working drawings. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Position is monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4pm with an on-call rotation. Must have a valid drivers license, and a clean driving record.
